My qualifications include my ECE, current First Aid and CPR and Sign Language Certificate. I have extensive experience working with children of all abilities. This includes 10 years running Tanja's Daycare and 10 years as an Educational Assistant for the Toronto District School Board plus plenty of other experience.
I have a structured program outline but also the flexibility to go with the flow. I believe that children learn naturally through play and will guide their development by providing activities that encourage this. I have a huge variety of toys and activities for all areas of development. Activities include circle time, arts & crafts, baking and lots of outdoor and free play! Many of our structured activities are based on our current theme which changes on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Themes are chosen based on the children's interests and abilities.
