Tanja’s Daycare currently has the following openings:
-part-time spaces for children 2-6 years of age available immediately
-full-time/ part-time spaces for children 1-6 years of age available starting in May 2012
My qualifications include my ECE, current First Aid and CPR and Sign Language Certificate. I have extensive experience working with children of all abilities including 10 years as an Educational Assistant for the Toronto District School Board.
I have a structured program outline but also the flexibility to “go with the flow.” I believe that children learn naturally through play and will guide their development by providing activities that encourage this. I have a huge variety of toys and activities for all areas of development. Activities include circle time, arts & crafts, baking and lots of outdoor and free play! Alot of the activities are based on our current theme which changes on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. In the summer there will also be trips to the library, local parks and events.
