I am a mature and single woman who has raised 4 children of her own. When thinking of what I wanted to do after my kids were all grown I decided that I was the happiest going home to my kids after a long day downtown Toronto working for bank executives.
So I became a foster parent caring for special needs(drug/alcohol addicted at birth) infants/toddlers . I have much experience with many childhood behaviors and disorders including Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Language and speech delays, Language based learning disorders. I have about 200 hrs or more of training in these areas. In other words, whatever training is offered I take it because I figure you can never be too prepared when it comes to children.
I have a current police check as I am Ministry regulated due to the fostering. So all my certificates are current ie: First Aid/CPR/Infant CPR.
Though I am a mature woman I still have so much energy and so much love and I know it works miracles which I have seen happen before my eyes. I have fostered 50 kids in the last 5 years and I have even helped create 2 families as two of my babies were adopted. I am still in touch with both families and the little boy will be 4 yrs old (he left me at 14 mos) in May and the little girl turned 2 yrs old (left me when she was 17 mos old).
I will care for your children as if they are mine like I do with my foster kids. I provide nutritious and home cooked meals as I am an Italian lady (but I speak 4 languages (Italian, English, Spanish & Portuguese) and I love to cook! I love the outdoors and so if the weather permits we will be out in the morning and in the afternoon after naptime. I love taking snacks or lunch to the park and having a picnic. I also read to the children, sing and dance...I know I'm still a kid too! I also use music during my playtime with the toddlers.

Admission conditions
I have a small dog (maltese/jack russell) 22 wks old and she is very loving too. She loves all people big and small.
