I have a bright and spacious dayhome with an enclosed kid-friendly back yard in a quiet neighborhood in Airdrie. I have story time every day, we do crafts twice a week, we have free time, quite time, and outside time - weather permitting. There is a park just around the corrner that we often go to. I currently have 1 full time space available for child between the ages of 2 - 11years old. i will have 2 full time positions for summer care starting Mid June to the end of August. I have another woman working with me full time - this also allows me to transport in the mornings to R.J.Hawkey Elementary without disrupting any sleep scheduling.
My name is Crystal and I am a mother of two - a boy 3 years old and a girl 5 years old. In addition to all of the crafts and play time, I follow the strategies of The Virtues Project where I teach the children in my dayhome a new virtue every 2nd week. Kids practice cooperation by keeping our toys off the floor, they practice gentleness by learning how to play nicely with toddlers and babies, and they practice kindness and generosity in their play time. All children in my dayhome are encouraged to express themselves in a safe and peaceful way.
