Preschool setting, lots of natural lighting various developmental toys. Use of mainfloor and lower level. All rooms have full sized windows , lower level has dress up, puppet theatre, wood blocks, books, painting,chaulk,pretend kitchen, peg boards,futon for lounging and reading books, baby dolls and beds etc. I rotate toys changing themes of our play and crafts with seasons and holidays. I provide two snacks and lunch always following the Canada food guide. I provide 3 food groups for snacks and 4 for lunch. We have outside play daily in my large backyard consiting of swings,8 ft slide, sandbox, loveseat swing, playhouse, rockers, and various activities such as chalk, bubbles, balls, hula hoops, and a trampoline that children are allowed 1 at a time with your signed consent. Upstairs we usually have nap on mats along with a blanket and stuffy that your child brings from home. I try to do crafts at least 3 times a week and the children always have drawing and various media to use at their free will. I am married with 2 daughters my husband drives truck and is usually involed on a daily basis with all the children before he leaves for the day. I have my CPR/First Aid , my home is fire /saftey inspected and of course myself and my husband have had criminal records screening done, I am currently working on my Early Childhood Education. We do not smoke. We do have 3 cats and 1 dog that have their own rooms so they are not out all the time . I do not spank or hit although I do give time out one minute for every year of age the child is and if you hit you sit rule . Then talk to treat others as we want to be treated. In general, I treat your children as my own, no less than what I would expect others to treat my children. That is the reason I chose to provide care . |

I require your child to be toilet trained . I also take children to outings in my van which is insured for this purpose and must be comfortable in allowing outings. I retain the 1st month of childcare in advance as well as a full months deposit which is applied to your last month of care. The deposit will not be returned as cash but as final payment only and you must give a full months notice to enable me to fill your spot. |
