Thank you for your interest in Daddy's Home Daycare. My name is Chris and I am a stay at home father of a 1 year old girl. I have always enjoyed working with children and I understand that there is a need for quality home childcare. I have worked at camps and coached a variety of sports programs. I am a father and understand the importance of providing high quality childcare for your child(ren). I am comfortable with children of all ages and needs. I live in a safe neighborhood with a park nearby. My home is always clean and has a warm atmosphere.
I provide a balance between structured and unstructured activities, individual, small group and large group activities, active and quiet times. My wife is an Ontario certified teacher and an E.C.E., who I collaborate with to create daily programming that, is developmentally appropriate and interesting for the children. This programming includes daily songs, stories, crafts, sensory activities, as well as, outdoor time and nap time. I have a variety of toys and books that are suited to the ages and interests of the children attending. I often take the children to activities outside of the home, such as the Ontario Early Years Centre and the nearby park.
Nutritious home cooked snacks and meals based on Canada’s Food Guide are provided daily. I am also able to accommodate for food allergies should the need arise.
