I am a Mom of a well natured little girl who is almost 2 yrs and a ton of fun. I am also an Early Childhood Educator with a Degree in Childhood & Family Relations. I have taken an additonal 5 post graduate courses in child development and attended many workshops and conferences in the field. I have been working with children and their families for over 13 years. I have worked in childcare settings and for the Ontario Early Years. My most recent position was as Assistant Supervisor of a large Toronto based centre (150 children enrolled). I have recently updated my C.P.R. certification.
I currently run a safe, loving and fun home child care geared to the development of toddlers ages 18 mos. - 3 years. My home has a great space with safe play, eating & washroom areas dedicated to the sole use of children. My home is pet and smoke free. My home care provides snacks and lunches which are nutritious and fun! The children enjoy a variety of educational toys and materials. Arts & sensory activities happen daily. The children love circle time with songs & stories using books, puppets, props and multi media! Outdoor play is a lot of fun in our spacious backyard with climbing equipment and outdoor toys. We also take neighbourhood walks in our large wagon.
Any parent can relate that it is impossible to take phone calls while caring for children. Please e-mail for samples of menus, program plans and to ask a hundred welcomed questions! After initial e-mail contact we can arrange a good time to chat by phone or in person about your child care needs. My home is a child's home and as such I prefer not to post pictures of the children's personal spaces online. A viewing of your child's potential home away from home can be arranged for serious inquiries.
