My name is Allison and I have an approved and monitored day home in the Elgin area (so subsidy is available if required). I will have a full or part-time space for a child aged 18 months and up starting in April.
My son is 2 years old and I have another 2 year old day home boy who will be 3 this summer. We have busy days including circle time with stories, songs and games as well as a craft/art time and will spend time outside either in the backyard or in one of the many parks within walking distance every day. We will also go on field trips to the library, southcentre kids club, etc.
My day home is open 7 am to 5 pm. I have a Bachelor of Education degree as well as 4 years experience running a day home. I can provide a criminal record/child intervention check and have current first aid/cpr certification. I can also provide excellent references. I have a smoke free, pet free home and a main floor play area. Nutritious lunch and 2 snacks provided. Gluten-free meals can be provided if required.
