I model exceptional quality of the early childhood programming for children starting at three months in age. I am educated through SIAST and I have obtained Early Childhood Education level one. I value and respect each child and have an understanding that all children are unique in their own way and will acknowledge and meet each child's needs. I believe children learn through their own beliefs and ideas and I follow the new emergent curriculum that enhances positive development in all the areas the children need.
Routine will offer a balance of indoor and outdoor play
Parent Involvement
As a parent or guardian you will be able to drop in whenever you wish and will always be invited to scheduled events. I would like to create a safe environment where families can feel free to share their ideas, raise concerns and help strengthen the childcare.
Curriculum
I would like to use the approach of having a preschool based childcare home. Developmental areas that will be covered are language and literacy, daily living and active role play, music and movement and cognitive/problem solving. These skills are learned through play, hands on and guided play.
Education/Experience
I have three classes for the Early Childhood Education program through SIAST which qualifies me for my level one through the Ministry of Education. I have a two year old daughter and have vast amount of experience in caring for all children and recognize children have variety of different temperaments. I'm able to resolve difficult situations.

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
