I am a stay at home mother with 2 children aged 13 and 16. I am certified in CPR and First Aid and have up to date police records check. I have taken E.C.E. courses as well as various other courses offered through the agency and the city such as the new E.L.E.C.T. program. I am registered with an agency and keep up to date by taking many other workshops. My home has been open for the past 10 years. We have a loving, fun and stimulating environment to develop all motor and sensory skills as well as social skills. Plenty of outings to library and parks, sports. My program includes crafts, games, lots of free play as well as educational activities . My goal is to make sure the children are ready for kindergarten educationally and socially. Children are fed healthy meals and snacks including international fare. Very child-friendly neighborhood and many playmates of various ages to socialize with. My home is totally smoke-free and insured. I live in Blackburn Hamlet within walking distance to parks, library, arena etc... lots of green open spaces for exploration. There is potential for part-time care but the minimum is 3 days and the rate would be $45 per day. If I have the space I also provide temporary care for holidays etc...and would consider evening care for shift workers depending on the hours required. There is bus service to 3 different area schools practically at my door presently.
Admission conditions
I have 2 very friendly cats (vaccinated) so must be aware of potential allergy problems with your children before inquiring about placement. Only serious inquiries please.
