Description
I provide before and after school care for children attending Acadia Elementary School. I live in New Brighton and the bus stops right in front of my house. I have a 6 yr old daughter that attends Acadia school and a 3 yr old daughter is starting preschool in the fall. I have been working with kids for over 20 years and started running a dayhome when my youngest daughter was born so I could stay home with my girls.
I am certified in first aid/CPR. My hours of operation are 7am - 5:30pm. I charge a flat rate which includes an after school snack as well as half day care on Fridays and full day care on PD days. All snacks and lunches are provided. I will also provide full time care during the summer months (full time fee will be determined)
Our house is a 2200 square foot 2 storey home with a fenced in back yard and a play room on the main floor. The living room and kitchen are an open concept so I can see the kids from all areas. There is also a bathroom on the main floor. We have a very child friendly dog. She is a 2 yr old border collie who is very gentle and well behaved. We also have a park right across the street from our house.
After school activities will include crafts, games, out door play and homework time if needed.
