Hello Families!! I am a loving mom to a wonderful energetic 17mth old girl, and have decided to open my home to look after a few more wee monkeys. I have been looking after children for over 10 years. I have been a nanny, part time babysitter, Montessori teacher in Scotland, I taught English in Japan for over a year at a Nursery School, and I have volunteered around the world looking after children and absolutely adore them, and love love love finally being a mom!!! I also graduated last year and received my BA in Social Sciences, majoring in Child Psychology.
My home is childproofed and smoke free with lots of toys and activities for children of all ages. We have a fenced in garden with grass and a waddling pool for the kids and outdoor toys. My husband and I are honest, decent, trustworthy people with good family values. I 'm a great cook and only give my daughter homemade lunches and snacks, and will provide nutritious healthy meals for your children.
Daily Activities include;
- Am and Pm outdoor time - Park/ Walks/ Picnics etc
- Music/ Dancing/ Singing
- Reading/ Story telling
- Puzzles/ arts and crafts/ playdoh
- Show and Tell
- Free Play
- Treasure Hunts (Age appropriate)
- Weekly Theme's
- Outings to the library, story time/ special activities
I have found one little monkey already under the age of 2, so I would prefer to only add 2 children between the ages of 2 and 6. I’m available for full time, part-time, before and after school or the occasionally day at last minute notice. My hours are from 7:30 – 6pm. However I am quite flexible and am willing to work around the parents schedule if need be.
