Are you looking for Before or After School Care for your child? I live a few minutes walk away from Catherine Nichols Gunn School. For CN Gunn Before School Care Children, I will walk your child directly to the front door & for CN Gunn After School Care Children I will meet them directly at the front door and walk with them back to my house.
I have a bus stop right in front of my house, so for other schools in the area, we can try to arrange school bus drop off & I'll take your child in the morning to the bus stop, & in the afternoon I will meet your child at the bus stop and accompany them back to my home.
In the morning, I will provide breakfast if necessary & children will have the opportunity to participate in quiet activities such as playing in my playroom, coloring a picture, or just visiting before going to school. After school, I will provide a snack, & then children can play in my playroom, play in my backyard, & color/draw a picture to take home. I will also do a craft time with your child before they go home.
My name is Hope. I have the privilege to be mother to a VERY energetic, but VERY fun 11 month old daughter & I am expecting my 2nd child in the spring. I am non-smoking & have 2 indoor cats. I have Level 1 Daycare, Level 3 American Sign Language, Social Work & Disability training & 10 years of childcare experience in private home or Daycare Settings. I have a clean Security Clearance & Child Intervention Check & have current Child Care First Aid with CPR Level B.
I provide delicious & nutritious home cooked breakfast, snacks & lunch for children. My clean, loving & fun home has a spacious fenced backyard, a bright & cheery playroom with a large selection of books, toys, games, & puzzles. I offer daily Circle time, Craft Time, ASLTime, free play, backyard activities, playground trips & regular weekly library visits & other community outings.
I am located in Oakhill Estates Townhouses in Thorncliffe (corner of Centre Street & 64th Avenue NE), moments from Deerfoot Trail, 4th Street, 78th Avenue & 14th Street. I am easily accessible to Huntington Hills & Beddington areas. I am steps away from 5 major bus routes & moments away from the 78th Ave Bus Loop. I am a 10 minute walk from Catherine Nichols Gunn Elementary School, Thorn-Hill Library, Thorn-Hill Pool & 2 community playgrounds.
