I offer a safe and nurturing "home away from home" environment with plenty of TLC. I have two boys of my own ages 4 and 7 years and have 5 years experience providing home daycare in Barrhaven. I belong to the CCPRN and have taken their Level 1, 2 and 3 Childcare Training. I also have my CPR and First Aid certificate and a Police Record Check completed. We spend our days playing indoor and out (walking distance to 4 parks as well as a big backyard with sandbox, climber and plenty of toys), as well as doing some arts and crafts, learning sheets, music time, stories and special activities. I prepare healthy snacks and lunches daily and follow the Canadian food guide recommendations. I believe communication with parents is key to a successful childcare relationship so I also provide a monthly newsletter of events so parents are always in the loop of what we are working on. My home is both pet free and smoke free and I am open to caring for children with food allergies / EPIPENs
Ideal fit would be a Monday - Thursday schedule (4 days per week).
