Child Care Guarantee
I will provide a safe, clean, educational and happy environment, where your children can learn, play, grow, be supervised & cared for in the same manner as I care for my own.
Hours Of Operation
7:30 am - 5:30 pm. Monday – Friday
Dayhome fee
Full Time- $800.00 per month per child
Part-Time - $50 per day (less than 15 days p/month and more than 6 hrs p/day)
Hourly - $8.00 p/hour
OverTime - $8.00 p/hour
Monthly Fee
All fees are payable in advance, and due on or before the first day of each month. You are required to give one month written notice of withdrawal. Your fees still apply for this month, even if your child does not attend.
* Please note: There are no reductions given in monthly fees for absences. The monthly fee covers both actual care and guaranteed space. Absences for family vacation, illness and other circumstances are expected and have already been taken into consideration when fees were set.
* No spots are held for free, if you wish to book a space before you start, you are required to pay $200.00 to hold your spot. There are no guarantees that the spot will be available if you do not pay for it. Please keep in mind that you are welcome to bring your child during this time.
N.S.F Cheques
There will be a $40.00 charge for all returned cheques. If two returned cheques are received, that family will be required to pay all future day home fees in cash.
Holidays
My Day Home will be closed for Statutory Holidays and Non-Statutory Holidays. When such a day lands on the weekend, we will be closed on the designated alternate day instead. These days are: New Year’s Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Heritage Day(civic holiday), Remembrance Day , Labour Day, and Thanksgiving Day.* These days will be included into your monthly fees.
As a Day Home provider, I will take two weeks vacation every year. *There is no reduction in monthly fees for any holiday time taken by either myself or your family* I will make sure to give as much notice as possible and will try to accommodate parents as much as I can. ( If I’m given adequate notice, I may be able to work my holidays around yours. (This is on a first come first serve basis).
Nutrition
I will provide a delicious breakfast, lunch and two wholesome snacks each day.
Parents, please notify me of all dietary restrictions due to allergy, intolerance, dislikes, religious restrictions etc. I will provide Homo milk for infants, but do require empty feeding bottles to be provided. Parents are to provide Infants with the necessary jarred baby food.
Clothing And Other Articles
Please ensure that your child has a complete change of clothing to keep at my dayhome. Proper outdoor wear must also be provided to suit the current season.
Quiet Time/Naptime
All children will be required to have a period of rest in the afternoon. Younger children will have naptime, and older children will sit down to do a quiet activity or watch a movie. This gives children a much needed break during the day. Feel free to send your child’s favorite stuffed animal or blanket for this time.
* Parents must send a pillow to leave at the dayhome for children who have a nap in the afternoon. Fresh pillow cases will be provided every week.
Illness
Sick children are not allowed to attend daycare. I would like to keep everyone in my home as healthy as possible. You will be required to make alternate arrangements until your child is well. Should your child become ill during the day, you will be required to have him/her picked up immediately. Any child contracting a communicable disease such as chicken pox, measles, lice, strep throat, flu and diarrhoea etc, may not return until well.
Injury or severe Illness
In the event that medical attention is required, your child will be taken to the Children’s Hospital on Shaganappi Trail. NW. Should it be necessary to call an ambulance, I will do so when good judgment dictates for your child’s health and safety. It is expected that the parents bear the cost of any emergency transportation required.
Emergency Evacuation
In the highly unlikely event of an emergency evacuation, all children will be taken to the Tri-Wood Community Center. After a safe evacuation, all parents will be notified immediately.
Birthdays
Upon approval from parents, a party will be held to celebrate his/her birthday. Decorations, a birthday cake and a small gift will be provided for your child’s special day.

If any situation arises, please feel free to talk about concerns you may have. I will do the same. Full communication is required to make my day home fun, happy and comfortable for everyone.

Administration of Medication.
I the parent agree to allow the day home provider to administer Tylenol or other Antibiotics to my child when required. The day home provider will notify parents when Tylenol is given.
