•Operated by a Registered Early Childhood Educator with eight years of working experience with children of all ages in a variety of settings including; licensed child care facilities, school settings, learning/tutoring centres as well as within a library and community centre

DAILY PROGRAM
Our space is set up into seven different learning areas in which the children are free to explore. The seven learning areas consist of Creative Arts, Math & Cognitive, Science & Discovery, Puzzle Centre, Sensory Play, Dramatic Play and the Book Centre. In each learning area, an activity is found which encourages the achievement of developmental milestones. Our Daily Program is posted on the Parent Board which further detail what the children will be engaging in for the day.
Creative Arts – The children will be able to express their creativity through a variety of activities such as:
*Painting with different objects ex: brushes, fingers, sponges, string, rollers, cookie cutters, twigs, leaves etc.
*Cutting & Pasting using objects of different sizes, shapes, colours and textures
Math & Cognitive – Through table games, songs & fingerplays, children will learn to:
*Count
*Sort by size, shapes, colours etc
*Seperate by size, sequence
*Add and Subtract
Science & Discovery – In this centre, children will explore many interesting objects such as
*Plants
*Insects
*Food
*Finger prints
Puzzle Centre – Children are free to explore in the Puzzle Centre. In this Centre children will develop hand-eye coordination and refine their motor skills.
Sensory Play – Children will explore different textures some examples include:
*Rice, pasta (dry & wet)
*Playdough, goop
*Sand, water, ice, snow
Dramatic Play-Children will be able to engage in pretend play while using words, actions and props to represent the real world. The Dramatic Play Centre theme will change from month to month some examples include:
*House
* Doctor’s office
*The Vet
*Grocery Store
*Post Office
