My name is Megan and I have lived in this beautiful town my whole life. I have always been involved with children since as far back as I can remember .I have been a kindergarten helper, a sparks leader, a nanny, an ECE teacher, a centre supervisor, and most recently a new mom.
I have A lot of experience to offer and a general love and kindness when dealing with children. I promote fun educational learning. There is always an experiment, a craft, or a sensory, when Miss Megan is around. I always get down to the children’s level when teaching. I feel that, that is one of the most important things a grown up should do. During circle, craft, play, time or snack time I will be sitting with the children using every excuse to teach them something new and exciting. My daycare will be as structured as possible with theme based learning. I will provide each child with a calendar at the start of every month. Outlined will be our weekly theme and special activities. (e.g.: Show & Tell) We will also be concentrating on phonics; learning, saying, and writing the letters of the alphabet. Basic math skills will also be applied to daily activities.
