At First Steps Family Child Care I recognize that daycare is often a home away from home for many children. I am a positive and nurturing person with a desire and passion for quality child care. My centre is in a brand new space, bright and clean. I love what I do and I take pride in being in the child care industry. I am a mom myself to a baby girl and will treat your children with the love and respect I do my own. At First Steps, children will be encouraged to learn through play. Your childs emotional, social and physical health is important to me. I have experience in child care, a certificate in Family Child Care with Kwantlen as well as Child Care First Aid and CPR. I offer a structured day with activities that include; free play, music, dress up, reading, arts and crafts, outdoor time, games and puzzles and more. We also go on field trips through out the year.
Also I am offering a drop off and pick up program with before and after school care option. Daily or weekly rates available.Shuttle to school FG Leary.
I have a private website for parents with information and photos of their children in daycare, monthly newsletters as well as policies and procedures I follow.
