I am a Kindergarten through Grade 8 certified teacher who has decided to stay home with my children to provide them with the social and educational opportunities that I believe all children deserve. Because of this, I offer a fully programmed day with circle time, outdoor play, trips to Early Learning activities and gyms as well as "homework" time where they work on age appropriate educational goals (ages 1 and up).
I service: Charles Bowman Public School, St.Elizabeth Catholic School, Ontario Street French Immersion, and St. Joseph's Catholic French Immersion. I am looking for either full-time or part-time (kindergarten or before and after school) children to fill my positions. If you are looking for a daycare where your child doesn't get their clothes dirty doing artwork or playing outdoors and would rather your child have a nice relaxing day, this is not the place for you. We are constantly on the move all morning with quiet time in the afternoon to re-energize for more activities. I have a current police check, first aid cpr (recerted yearly), a teaching degree as well as many references. My home is both pet and smoke free.
I also provide snacks and lunches which follow the Canadian food guide so you know your child is getting all of the nutrients that he/she requires. Menu and calendar posted.
