I am the mother of a little boy 11 months old. I am opening a License Not Required daycare in my home and would provide a loving and secure place for your child to be. I currently have 2 spots available for Full time or Part time and can start right away or for November 1st. I accept children between the ages of 11 months and up. I have had Emergency Child and Infant First Aid many times, as well as Criminal Record checks, however am in the process of getting current in both again. This will be done by opening on November 1st. I have registered with options and CCCR and although not every item is completed as stated above you can call options for verification if needed.
Here's a little about my background and family life. I am the mother of an 11 month old boy, and a stepmother to 2 other boys, ages 7 and 11. My husband used to be an RCMP officer and now works in enforcement for the federal government. I used to work for an airline and now as a mother have realized that I wish to stay at home full time and not return to my previous job. I have worked in Travel and Tourism for the past 10 years but always wanted to be a teacher. So while working full time volunteered with Girl Guides of Canada for 7 years. I was a Brownie and a Sparks leader during this time. Both at one time for a year. I loved it and miss it very much. I have dealt with many abilities in children and believe that they all have something very special to offer.
Healthy eating habits are a must as well as indoor and outdoor play. I love doing crafts, games and songs with the children. I also believe in education and love watching their faces when they have discovered and mastered something new.
I live in a quiet residential neighborhood that is within a short walking distance to 2 parks, and has a small playground within the complex. I am located around 194th Street and 65th Ave.
