I am a mom of 3 and have been running and active, uninterrupted daycare for 27 years following the 4 R’s, Reliable, Reasonable, References, Receipts. It is important to me to make the children feel as if they are at home, in a safe and cozy home like environment, giving parents peace of mind and comfort everyday. I work as a partner with the parents to support, nurture and grow each child and develop their specific needs at ALL levels of development and for ALL age groups.
My approach is to work with each child one on one, focusing on their individual needs while allowing them to grow and interact in a group setting.
I have experience with special needs children including children with autism, ADHD and anxiety disorders.
A large focus for us is outside play including many parks and splash pad. The children get the opportunity to learn about safety and team values while having a great time and getting lots of exercise.
Indoors we do lots of reading, games, puzzles, free play and colouring and the children love to sing and dance to children’s music. A lot of a child’s learning comes through playing with each other. I focus on developing social skills and preparing them for school.
A safe, caring, responsible environment that is flexible and teacher friendly. I will happily accept +10 children, and currently have playmates for this age.
