I have been an Early Chidlhood Educator since 2004. I've worked in the field at different centers with different age groups since I finished the program at Algonquin College. I have decided to be a stay at home mom with my two children who are 3yrs old and 11mths old. I provide a warm and caring environment designed to be a play based learning environment with age appropriate toys, games, songs and activities to promote learning. I design the programming on a weekly basis around the interests of the children to stimulate children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical well-being with a strong emphasis on respect for themselves and others. As their interests shift so does the outline for the program. I also provide heathly breakfast (if needed), morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack. A lot of the food comes from my own organic garden. I incorporate as much outdoor physical activities as I have time for in a day! We have lots of outdoor toys and a playstructure.
Admission conditions
We have two children, two more that will be attending this summer and two starting in the fall. We also have a dog named Marley so you must love dogs!!
