I am a mother of a beautiful 12 month old baby girl. I am currently a student at George Brown College and am almost finished my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am opening a home child care after my Mat leave is finished with only a few children (So I can better attend to their needs) We have a play room that as been set up for children around the age of my daughter.
If you are looking for a great place to bring your baby please do not hesitate to check me out. I know it can be scary leaving your baby with someone you do not know, so I would like to use the time before to get to know each other and have your baby become aware of who I am.
I was thinking between the hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm but arrangements can be made if your hours vary. I am looking for Full Time children 5 days a week (mon-fri). With VERY reasonable rates (I know how expensive child care can be-trust me I have looked!!)
I am located in the Kingston Rd and Brimley Area (considered the Upper Bluffs). We are very short walks to 2 great parks, as well as I have a fenced in backyard.
I am not one of those people to sit inside all day, I believe fresh air does your mind a body good, so I will be taking the children out to get exercise and break from the indoors.
I have worked in a daycare before I had Amalia for approx 2.5 years. So I am knowledgeable about Routines for children as well as how important it is for parents values and beliefs to be reflected outside of their home. I am working on obtaining a license to operate at this current time, as well I am CPR certified.
