At Pure Hearts Family Daycare our goal is to equip your child with the necessary skills to succeed in school and in life. We provide a clean, safe, nurturing and fun environment and tailor to a wide variety of age groups, from 6 months to 12 years. ABOUT THE OWNER:
The owner, Sylvia Awad, has been providing services to care for children for over 15 years. She has worked in a children's hospital for 12 years as a Biochemist and provided impeccable quality care to thousands of children. Her love and intellect and her studies in child psychology heightened her desire to open up a daycare.

ABOUT THE FACILITY:
Pure Hearts Family Daycare has been open for five years and has gained a reputation of being not only a loving and nurturing place but also a fun educational one. Our family daycare is a well rounded daycare that tailors activities to each age group and to the needs of each child. Children are exposed to fun social, physical and educational activities to help develop their skills and to help make their strengths shine. Pure Hearts Daycare fashions its program to help children love to learn and it is evident in their love for going to school. We also offer a unique before and after school care program that serves Hazel Trembath Elementary School.
FACILITY DESCRIPTION:
1. Separate Nap Room - includes two cribs, and a music stereo system
2. Separate Kitchen – includes a refrigerator, a microwave, a table, 4 chairs and two high chairs
**Healthy and nutritious snacks are included twice a day free of charge
3. Full Bathroom
4. Separate Full Indoor Play Area - includes top of the line wall-mounted LCD TV for watching educational and entertaining videos; a computer with a flat screen monitor; a book shelf with fun stories and age appropriate educational books that is updated and current; a wide variety of age appropriate toys; board games including but not limited to monopoly and chess; a wide variety of arts and crafts.
5. Huge Fully Fenced and Secure Backyard - includes water sports and a wide variety of outdoor toys, balls, Frisbees, etc...
6. Playground - when weather permits, we go to a nearby park with a playground and tennis courts. Tennis rackets and tennis balls are provided free of charge to the older children. Tennis is a great sport that is a personal favourite and also helps children develop and fine tune their eye-hand coordination.
