Hi Moms and Dads....I am a mother of 2 children (14 & 11 yrs old), the Director of Youth at Kemptville Pentecostal Church, and was a humanitarian worker in Malawi where my husband and we were directors of an orphanage for a year and a half.
I am located in Equinelle (Hwy 44 & River Rd) and have a main floor playroom and separate sleeping spaces for every child. I have over 10 years experience and have First Aid & CPR training, vulnerable sector police check, & always provide yearly tax receipts. I am a certified licenced home daycare under Natural Connections Childcare. I am fully insured and can provide you with excellent references from either present or past parents.
With safety being on everyone's mind right now for of ourselves and our family members it is extremely important that as a home daycare provider I provide I a safe environment for your children as well. I have put in place a number of daily regulations and cleaning requirements to follow in order to lower the risk of COVID-19. As well as the agency I am with oversees that I am following all regulations they put in place and follow all government guidelines. I am equipped with PPE that will be used when needed as well as strict guidelines surrounding COVID-19 for everyone to follow who is in my care. This includes new guidelines and daily screenings.
I run all year round for those that need it, but I do offer a Teacher Friendly option for those following the school calendar.
What does Teacher Friendly Schedule mean?
I run on the School Calendar - Regular Teacher Rate Fees from beginning of September to end of June. Then Fees are 1/2 price during the summer. Fees are still due on your regular pay periods to secure your spot for the next school year.
CURRENT OPENING:
- 1 Full-Time space for child under 24 months
FULL-TIME: $50/day for 5 days/week
PART-TIME: $55/day for 3-4 days/week
TEACHER FRIENDLY SCHEDULE: $55/day for 5 days/week
*1/2 price for July & August*

My Home Daycare is Fully Licenced and provides a comfortable home setting.
I offer a play based program that allows children the opportunity to explore and be creative, that nourishes their development. There is a strong link between play and learning in young children. This provides opportunities for learning in a context in which they are at their most receptive. Play develops a foundation in the areas of problem solving, language acquisition, literacy, and mathematics as well as the development of social, physical, and emotional skills. This in turn develops the necessary skills for success in school and life by paving the way for learning.
The daily activities reflect a healthy balance between play and rest, active and quiet times, group times and individual activity and of course, appropriate affectionate adult-child interactions.
Outdoor play will be a part of our daily activities, weather permitting. Books and music is also a very important part of each day.
My home provides a safe, clean, bright, caring and child friendly environment for your child(ren).
I strive to provide an atmosphere in which self-confidence is encouraged, opportunities are provided to build positive relationships, and an interest in learning is promoted through a variety of activities. I want to create opportunity for your child(ren) to develop independence, creativity, and co-operation. With lots of individual care and attention for your child(ren).
My goal is to provide care that lays a foundation for your child(ren) to grow into caring, polite, respectful, contributing young adults.

I do my best (but do not guarantee) to have a backup to fill in when I have appointments so you are not left trying to figure things out. Parents that I've had in the past and presently find this extremely helpful. I always make sure you meet my backups and they have to be authorized by my agency. (At this time due to COVID-19 I can not offer this).
At present I am doing Zoom interviews with potential clients. I will show you around and answer any questions you might have. Looking forward to meeting you and your little one.
