I believe children learn best when they follow their own interests and are exposed to a wide variety of activites and experiences. In my home daycare I offer the children opportunities to participate in:
• Stories (English and French)
• Music, singing, and dance (English and French)
• Age appropriate toys
• Crafts and creative art
• Dress up and make-believe
• Puzzles and games
• Physical activity such as yoga, running, ball play, sliding, sledding, building snowmen, playground play etc.
• Baking
• Science experiments
• Gardening
• Outings to the park
• In-house programs such as Kinderjam
• School-readiness activities for preschoolers
Excellent past and present parent references. CPR, police checks, no pets, no smoking, no pool. Cloth diapers welcome!
