I am a mother of 3 children aged 8, 17, 18. My daycare is run out of home located in the West End of Guelph close to Mitchell Woods, Westwood and St Peter's School. I am a fun, loving, energetic, first aid certified mom with over 18 years of daycare experience. I offer a program that promotes early learning, develops gross and fine motor skills, and creativity in a warm, loving environment. I strive to create lasting relationships with children and their parents. Currently I have a Sept opening
My program offers daily activities such as:
Circle Time including calendar, weather and songs & rhymes
crafts, colouring, puzzles, stories,
early learning of letters, numbers, colours and shapes
outdoor/indoor play,
Quiet rooms for naps
2 healthy snacks and lunch provided
We also go on field trips and spend lots of time outside in the fresh air. Weekly OEYC playgroups, visits to the library, parks, fall farms, splash pad, Monthly trip to children's museums. These are just some of the field trips we do.
Meals include nutritious lunches and snacks. All food follows the recommendations provided by Canada’s Food Guide. Lots of fruit, veggies, whole grains and lean meats.
