Hi Parents!
I provide a structured Christian program for young children ages 12months to 4 years. I have extensive experience with children and give what they need to thrive. Children need love and protection above all. Children need a caregiver that is attentive, thoughtful, one who is insightful and cares for their well being and comfort at all times.
I am a student of the Ottawa School of the Bible, studying for my ministerial diploma. I will be incorporating the Lord's Prayer, reading Christian age appropriate books, singing Christian songs, and all will be laid out in a booklet for parents to review.
At our daycare we visit museums, the library, have fun at the splash pad around the corner, visit various parks, Cosmic Adventures, Chapters, Tumblers, nature walks, wagon rides, participate in playgroups and organized outings through the CHILD CARE PROVIDERS RESOURCE NETWORK, and just have fun on the property with balls, sports equipment, ride on toys and toddler structure. All activities that take place outside of daycare are inclusive with enrollment.
I provide exceptional homemade meals that are made with fresh vegetables and various whole grains. Beef is often organic, vegetables and fruit are provided everday and are sometimes organic.
MENU EXAMPLES LUNCH:
Vegetarian chili with black beans
Beef stew with potatoes and root vegetables
Spinach/beef lasagna with kamut noodles
Sloppy Joes (no msg) with peppers/celery
Meatloaf with mashed sweet & yellow potatoes/side cucumber
Seafood Linguine (sea scallops, wild fresh tuna, shrimp) with peas and kamut noodles w fresh Parmesan and bread
Sweet & Sour chicken with brown rice and green beans
Carrot Orange soup with bread
Chicken Noodle soup with bread
Orange glazed beets, black beans, cheddar,cilantro with brown rice
Mexican pizza with black beans
Whole grain brown rice pasta w tomato vegetable sauce or organic beef and vegetabe sauce, fresh parmesan and bread
SNACK EXAMPLES:
Orange, kiwi, canaloupe, honeydew, apples, blueberries, strawberries, banana, grapes and cucumber.
Mixed berry shake: blueberries, blackberries, carrots, plain yogourt, tofu, apples, orange juice and organic milk (a favourite with all the children), organic and non organic whole grain crackers, hummus w bread, cheddar cheese, plain yogourt and raisins
Naps are in separate rooms.
CPR and First Aid training with St. John Ambulance.
Schedule can be flexible, part time care is also available @ $5 extra per day.
