WELCOME
Hi, my name is Chantal and I'd like to welcome you to the Monkey and Friends Daycare. I have many years of experience with children, and am currently raising two beautiful girls. I thoroughly enjoy showing children the joys of learning in everyday life and believe that learning should be fun!
I also strongly believe parent/provider communication is key to a successful child care relationship. Beyond communication, I provide a healthy, safe, and loving home-like environment for all children where they can learn and grow on a daily basis.
I offer a large daycare area, full kitchen and separate bathroom, bedrooms for naps and a large fenced yard for outdoor activities. I teach language, basic skills and personal hygiene along with lots of time for crafts and outdoor play.
My main goal at Monkey and Friends Daycare is to provide a variety of fun learning experiences for all of the children. When the overall age group of my children warrants, I will provide a preschool program using a monthly theme format from September through May for children ages 2 - 5 at no additional cost to you. Letters, shapes, colours, and number recognition will be taught as a part of my program as well as arts & crafts, music, concepts (like big and little), science, and literature. The goal of preschool is to have fun and provide a little extra learning stimulation for the older children. It will not be a rigorous academic program as young children learn best from play!
Balanced lunches and 2 snacks are provided in the daily cost.
