Privately run daycare in smoke-free home, for children aged 0-12 years old. Half, full day and before and after school spots available. Couchiching Heights Public School district.
We are proud and loving parents of one girl, with 5 plus years of experience in running our own daycare. Healthy, whole grain snacks, breakfasts, lunches, 100% juice and other health conscious drinks are provided. We have little birthday parties, holiday parties, small outings and theme days for the children. Weather permitting; our daycare is outside for at least 1-2 hours each day walking along nature trails, bike riding, playing on the playground and the sandbox and gardening in our fully fenced backyard. We hula hoop, draw with chalk, some gymnastics, jump rope and exercise too! We have a small pool, water sports and a sprinkler in the summer and toboggan hill, sled rides and snowmen in the winter.
When the weather is not cooperating, we are inside doing arts and crafts, puzzles, learning games, colouring, beads, Play-Doh and painting. We have child-friendly animals that the children love learning all about and interacting with. We teach about nature and being Earth-friendly. We will teach the younger children their letters, numbers and some sign language and anything else that parents request. I will also help the older children with homework if requested. Daily reports for what your children did in their day will be available upon request.
Our primary focus is to love, nurture and take the best possible care of your children in a fun, warm and safe environment. Everybody is family in our house.
