I offer nutritious meals (2 snacks + lunch), a wide variety of educational indoor and outdoor activities (weather permitting), fun crafts, and of course, TLC! I have my First Aid/CPR, Food Safe, and have formally worked in childcare for about 5 years prior to starting my dayhome (Oct 2010) in a licensed daycare, an unlicensed dayhome and as a nanny, as well as numerous volunteer experiences. I took 2 and a half years of Arts and Science at the University of Saskatchewan, majoring in psychology. I plan to take the Early Childhood Education course through correspondence at SIAST. I run the daycare out of our basement suite and my husband and I live upstairs.
I have a fenced-in backyard and Ashworth Holmes Park is 6 blocks away. I try to find appropriate activities based on each child's age and skill level. I have affordable hourly, daily and monthly rates, as well as discounted rates for siblings. Currently I have space for FT, PT and casual, as well as drop in and before/after school. |
