My name is Samantha, I have had a dayhome for 6 years, both private and with an agency. I have first aid /CPR level B and C. I have police clearance and child welfare checks. I have been studying Early Childhood Education at Bow Valley College in my spare time and am 1 class from completing my level 2 certification. I currently have the Assisstant Childcare certificate.
I am a mother to 3 boys, 2 of which are at Christ The King Catholic school in Cranston and my youngest who is 3 is at home with me during the day.
I am able to offer parents FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME, AND DROP-IN CARE at our home in New Brighton. We offer 2 snacks and one meal, provide age appropriate activities that foster early literacy and numeracy skills, gross and fine motor development, and the social and emotional development of children. On days that weather permits we make use of the many local amenities, ie: skating, sledding, field trips to parks and local playgrounds, not to mention we have a great bouncer that is set up in the bsmt. on those cold winter days.
