Hello and welcome to Our House Home Daycare. I am an Early Childhood Educator registered in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators as well as a member of the Child Care Providers Resource Network. I have 9 years professional experience working with children and am a mom to a 5 year old and a 2 year old. I offer a very bright and warm play space in a walkout basement, nutritional food for lunch and snacks and developmentally appropriate toys to encourage learning and development. Our day includes special activities, outdoor and indoor play and a circle time with music, stories and poems.
My philosophy is that children learn best through play and I follow an emergent curriculum based on the children's interests. We have a fenced yard that backs onto a creek with lots of trees and wildlife for the children to enjoy. Our little piece of the country in the city! We try to get out twice a day depending on the weather.
