This centre is located in the comfort of my home. Playroom and bathroom were fully renovated this past summer. With lots of toys to stimulate the mind from playing house to science experiments. I love to disguise learning in play and encourage creativity.
My philosophy is to care for children with the perfect balance love of discipline. I understand all children learn, love and develop differently. I provide care with positivity and the same love I would give my own children.
We do have a routine that ensures everyday the children are engaging in activities involving reading, colours/shapes, numbers/letters, art, music and physical exercise. Everyday we do group activities to develop social skills such as team work, sharing and problem solving.Once a week we try to get out and enjoy a field trip. It may be engaging in a play group, going to the library, the Vedder Rotarty Trail, Cheam Wetlands, etc... just to change things up, it keeps daycare exciting.
Transportation is provided for children attending Strathcona Elementary School.
*I have my cetificate in Family Child Care. Earned at the University of the Fraser Valley. This certificate is also known as an Early Childhood Educater's Assistant Status.
