A nurturing and engaging environment for your little one, Montrose Dayhome provides your child with many opportunities for learning throughout the day. Daily craft and outdoor play (weather permitting), as well as large, bright indoor play areas.
I am affiliated with North Edmonton Family Dayhome Agency, which allows me to offer subsidized rates to families who qualify.
Free play is emphasized in the mornings, with structured activities such as arts and crafts, physical activities or baking generally taking place in the afternoon. I make it my priority to be accessible to the children during the day; rather than simply supervising, I make sure that if your child needs a lap to sit in, a snuggle or a high-five, they know that I am always there when they need it!
There is a brand-new playground within easy walking distance, and a new splash-park being built this spring. In the summer we are outside as much as possible, usually spending the mornings in the park, and the afternoons in the fully landscaped, fenced in backyard, playing in the playhouse, working in the garden, and running through the sprinkler!
In the winter months, we still spend 15-30 minutes outdoors when the weather permits, walking in the neighborhood, or playing in the backyard.
