Experienced provider operating home daycare, in accordance with the Day Nurseries Act. Criminal check, CAS, and First Aid/CPR. Preschool programming includes Early Years, Private Programme, Tumble & Toys, Library (Sept - June). Educational programming at home, including crafts, music, stories, play doh, educational computer games, lots of outdoor time.
Open from 5.30 to 7.30pm; most weekdays; depending on parental requirements. Standard rate of 28.00 is for a full time school age child for a 9.5 hr or less day. Hours before or after 6.30 am/pm are at a higher rate. Sibling discount for full day placements.
School age programming (Sept-June) includes outdoor activities daily; provider walks to and from school(s) to drop off and pick up; hot lunch available for Bayview Heights or lunch only can be provided, provider will pick up lunch time at Bayview Heights.
PA and holidays -- Physical activities are a special focus in the summertime, outings every day, Air Zone, Zoo, Library, Swimming, Biking, Hiking. Pets (dog and cat) in the home. Serving Bayview Heights PS, Sir John A MacDonald PS and Holy Redeemer CS.
Out door play and physical activity are a large part of the programming for all ages every day... we walk regardless of weather; if we can't play in the park, we might splash in the puddles.
School age children (along with preschool) will spend at least one hour playing in the playground, climbing, swinging, running etc. Preschool children at home will be outdoors for longer periods of time at neighbourhood parks etc.
Lunch Programme can be included with JK, SK, or school age programme, or children may attend for lunch only for Bayview Heights School, Provider picks up for lunch.
JK SK alternate day programme/ for Sir John A MacDonald School, Sir John A. MacDonald is the French Immersion School for Bayview Heights, if you attend Bayview Heights for JK/SK and wish to attend French Immersion in grade 1; there would be no disruption in daycare we walk to both schools and the times work! Before and After for Bayview Heights, Sir John A MacDonald and Holy Redeemer grades 1 to 8.
Can provide backup for your own providers sick days/vacation as long as adequate space available, happy to accept children day of provider's absence if space is available call anytime after 6:00 am. Happy to meet with you and your child regarding occassional and/or vacation back up. Please note, for the summer, holiday back up available but for placements longer than 3 weeks provider may have to terminate with one weeks notice if permanent placements are required.
Discounted rates for more than one child (full time) from the same family.
