NEW Home child care, start September 2012
I am moving to the south end of Paris (Court st) in the spring of 2012 and will continue to operate an educational home child care program in my home starting September 2012, I currently live in Milton Ontario and have been doing home child care since 2007.
My husband has changed jobs and is now working in Simcoe, the reason for our relocation.... We will take possession of our new home in May of 2012 and will then be doing some renovations. I will start providing care in September 2012. But will be free to meet parents in June 2012 (weekends) who are looking for care.
What I offer in my program
-Smoke free environment
-Worked in child-care facility for over 6 years (in a school-age program, Preschool program and Toddler program)
-Home Childcare for 4 ½ years
-First aid CPR CRC
-Play to learn curriculum, I feel children learn the most while exploring in their own way.
-Laid back environment with routine.
-Weekly program plan
-Weekly educational trips that will benefit the children creatively and or educational needs
-Provide a creative environment i.e., Music, dramatic arts and crafts.
- Explore the magic of science through experiments and baking
-Encourage and foster socialization with group activities
-Promote independence by giving the children the opportunity to develop their self-help skills.
- Home cooked meal which also include a variety of multicultural dishes and snacks, so children can have the chance to develop their taste buds
-I offer breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks and will offer dinner at parents request at no additional cost
-weekly posted menu
-Flexible hours.
-Keep ratio low so I can maximize one to one time with each child.
- I have a 110 % open door policy parents can walk into my home at any time
-I Give tax receipts
-Offer before and after school care (Cobblestone P.S) as there is a bus stop out front of my house
-I let kids be kids. I give them a safe, clean environment and the tools to promote creativity, education as well as the patience to let them freely explore what the world has to offer them at their own pace.
- I will be new to Paris kinda scared :o) but I'm super excited to be part of a small town community and truly make it my forever home.
