Hi, my name is Vicki, and I look foward to providing your child with lots of TLC! I have lots of experience with children- gained from being a mother of 3, teaching Sunday school for several years and through previous volunteer work at Children's Aid Society. I have a B.A. in psychology in which I took several courses focused on children.
My home day care is located on Forest Green Cres., just off 8th line, where the Metcalfe Golf course is- a convenient morning/evening drop off/pick up location- right along your route to work!
When your child comes to my home he/she will enjoy organized activities such as crafts, learning games and story time. There will also be time for free play both indoors and out.
Inside, we have lots of space to play and create. We will start our day with the weather chart, Calendar and letter of the Week. We will sing songs, do crafts, and other games that focus on counting, letters and colours.
Outside, the children will enjoy running and playing on a large property located on a quiet street- No worries of traffic. There will be time to play on a large play structure with a huge sand box. For those with school aged children most area school buses(Metcalfe Public, Castor Valley, St. Catherine's) stop right at the end of my driveway- so no worries about them having to walk far for the bus, or staying out in the cold for long.
I will provide your child with healthy meals and snacks. I charge reasonable rates and provide receipts. I am First Aid/CPR certified. A daily log book of your child's activities will be provided at your request.
