I am the mother of 3 beautiful children. I have been working with children and individuals with disabilities since I was 18. I completed the ECE program, first aid and have worked in many environments. Throughout the years I have taken a variety of courses and have also taught many workshops. I've worked in group homes with special needs adults and teens, as well as taught night school. Our family also has provided other families with respite care in our home. We've had the opportunity to host many students from different parts of the world. I have worked in daycare and preschools and was the manager of some of these facilities.
Just previous to coming home, I had been working within the School district as an Educational Assistant for 12 years and spent my last 3 years there working with children who have little to no speech from K - grade 12 and mentored my peers.
My decision to start a home based childcare came when I was unable to find the quality of childcare that I wanted for my own children and I knew I would be able to provide families with that quality care for their children.
I have always had a love for children and others so this decision was an easy one! I look forward to meeting you and your family!
Admission conditions
I only have one full time space available starting December 1, 2014. The daycare fee is $45/day or $900/month. I am open 7:30 - 4:30, with the exception of Wednesdays closing at 4:00. We have 2 family dogs that are not in the daycare space, but the children may have contact with them from time to time.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
