I'm a Mom to a 7 year old son and 2 year old daughter. After the birth of my daughter, I decided to stay home and love having other children around. I have been working with kids for most of my life including working as a Brownie leader and figure skating coach in my teens, a Science and Math tutor when I first finished University, and now as a childcare provider. I have a Biology degree and love teaching and watching kids learn and grown. I have 1 spot available for before and after school care for Lakeside P.S. for the beginning of the 2012/2013 school year. I provide safe transportation to and from Lakeside PS, a healthy after school snack and homework assistance. Full day care is available for school holidays. I will also have one full time spot available for September 2012 as well. Full day care includes a healthy homemade lunch and 2 healthy snacks. I have a main floor playroom with a wide variety of toys, and a fenced in backyard with play structure. We do circle time, crafts, learning based activities, spend lots of time outside, and attend local playgroups and library/OEYC programs. I maintain a low child to adult ratio as I limit the number of children in my care to seats in my van. I have a valid VSS, first aid/CPR training, and can provide excellent references. Children of teachers are welcome!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to set up a meeting to discuss care for your child.

Please note we are not a nut free home (however, I will not give your child any foods with nuts without your written permission) and do have a cat and a dog.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
