I hope that you and your child will feel like this is your home away from home when you are here. I believe, that it is
important for children to feel loved and wanted in a safe, secure, clean and fun environment.
I believe that children "learn what they live". A great example is to watch how your child interacts and treats his or
her favourite toy, when they love and treat that toy with respect and kindness you know that you are doing the same.
"If children live with security and friendliness, they learn that the world
is a nice place to live and to have faith in themselves and in those around them"
I am a fully insured private daycare provider and a mother of two amazing little girls (2 1/2 years and 6 months). After months of trial,
my family made the decision that traditional daycare did not suit our needs. This experience encouraged me to stay home with my children
and make the decision to provide safe, accountable, creative, quality care for other children.
I have an extensive medical background ranging from urgent medical care to long term care. Before my last maternity leave I spent the
5 years prior to that working as a nutritionist. I am Infant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid Certified.
My goal is to have all the children in my care having a fun and fabulous day while learning through play. I believe that a child's work is play!
The more fun that a child has, the more they are able to learn. I would like children and their parents to feel safe and secure while in my home.
I will provide the same care to your child as I would expect for my own children. Thus, I want my home to be a second home for you and your child. |

Upon registering your child each parent will receive in their registration package, a daily log book that I will fill out so that you as the parent are
aware of goals that your child accomplished as well as a log of wet/soiled diapers, naps/quiet time, what your child ate and drank that day and any
special activities that we completed. Your child will also receive their own cubby for things such as extra clothes, security items etc, a cup of their
own to be used while in the day home. Parents may prefer to have their child "integrated" into the daycare which can be done over 3 separate 3 hour
sessions with or without the parent present at no charge to the parent, however the registration forms MUST be completed prior to any integration
or enrollment. Your child's safety is of extreme importance to me! |
