Working in the childcare field for over 10 years, as an Early Childhood Educator, I have tried to interweave the experience as an Educator in a childcare setting, with the cozy, comfort, warm, friendly and homelike environment to meet the preferences of today's busy families who intend to put their children in small group ratios and afford their care as well. In a home care, your child has all the comforts and security, as well as other children to play and socialize with.
My program has been carefully planned, with children in mind, to meet their interest and promote developmental skills.
In "First Steps" I strive to offer children of 10 months-8 years, a wide variety of basic activities such as:
Paint, Blocks, Play dough, Sand and water, Gardening, Science activities, Nature exploration, Dramatic play, Reading and Writting. All these activities are expanded based on children interests to provide on-going learning experiences for the child.
My program offers your child the building blocks of learning.
I provide fresh, homemade nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day that your child will enjoy and why not, help preparing them during our cooking activities.
End of year receipts are provided for income tax purposes.
