Hello parents,
My name is Mona, and I am a professional licensed home daycare provider living in Old Barrhaven.I work private and with an licensed Agency.
I have two openings, full day for two years old and up, starting September 2012.My hours are 7.00am to 5.00pm,my rate is 40$ per day ,I have a low ratio of kids in my care.CPR,First AID and Police check up to date.
Many childcare workshops have been done to ensure that the program in the home is designed to meet the individual needs of your child at every stage of their development.
Communication is very important and I communicate with the parents every day. At the end of the day, I like to spend 5 minutes with the parents of each child to tell them what happened and if anything of importance needs to be shared.
I put out different toys at different play times for a variety of activities and interests.
Home made meals and healthy snacks,a special learning program,music,reading,dancing,art and crafts and a lot of outdoors activities. Smoke and pet free environment.

The following is a schedule of what a day would look like for a child that naps once a day.
7:00- 8:00 - free play time
8:15- 8:30 - snack time
8:45-11:00- outdoor play(parks,walks)
11:30-12:00 - library time,circle reading time at home, music , arts and free time
12:00-12:30- lunch
12:30-1:00 - art: crayons, stickers etc
1:00-2:30 - nap
2:30-2:45 - snack
2:45-4:00 - outside play time, either backyard or park (weather permitting). If raining or too cold, inside active time
4:00-whenever - free play time outdoors and pickup begins |
