I am a REGISTERED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR with 10+ years teaching experience in a Preschool with children ages 2.5 to 5. As well, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience through working in the Full day Kindergarten at Halton District School Board. In addition I have tutored students from Kindergarten to grade 2.
The daily routine at Hoot Wants to Play Home School will include, but not limited to
*arts and crafts
*story time
*outdoor play
*yoga, dance, music and much more fun activities based on children's interest.
Additional instruction time for children 2.5 years and above
*guided reading
*guided writing
*guided math
**2 snacks and a warm lunch will be provided according to the Canadian food guide
I strongly believe, children learn best through play, and independence. As an Educator my focus is to create an environment that facilitate their curiosity to explore.
