Hello, my name is Teresa. I am a stay at home mother of two (4yrs & 8yrs)
I live across the street from Lake Simcoe Public School. There is also a bus route for Keswick PS that stops directly infront of Lake Simcoe PS.
I offer a caring, nuturing, loving and educational environment for all children. I have a great deal of experience with children as I was a live-out nanny for 5 years and have two of my own children! I also have a lot of experience working with handicapt and special needs children.
On a daily basis I will be providing parents with informational sheet of the activities their child participated in during each day. These info sheets will also list what their child ate for all meals and snacks, if they napped (and for how long), and much more!
Weekly menus will be given to parents so you can always have a look at what I am preparing and have peace of mind that your child is being well fed, and eating healthy foods! All meals are home cooked. I also have a solid background in nutrition and wellness.
Our main play area/daycare area is on the main floor of my home. We have tons of fun toys, games and learning activities.
On a daily basis children will follow a routine of indoor and outdoor playtime, circle time, story-time, music, craft and learning activities, and of course free play time. We also have monthly themes where the children learn about specific seasons, holdidays, animals, letters and sounds and much more.
We have a non-smoking, smoke free home and can assure you that all children will have access to only safe play areas. We also have a fully fenced and gated backyard.
There is a fun play structure in the backyard with swings and slide for older children. There is also a play house, pirate ship, slides and lots of other outdoor activities to choose from. Children will be taken to the park daily as it is located directly across the street from our home.
Tax receipts will be issued for all children.
