We learn educational fundamentals on a daily basis through interaction, alpha and numeric recognition and sequence and many other educational topics such as color recognition, animals and nature etc.
We learn basic life skills like the importance tidying up toys, good hygiene (eg. hand washing) and manners!! (I’m very big on manners!)
We practice social skills such as sharing and being kind and compassionate toward others
We do daily physical activities through dance and games (appropriate for each age group)
I have an assistant to help out during core hours so we have 2 sets of hands and eyes in a small day home setting :)
Driving to and from school may be possible depending on school/ pre- school and times for drop off and/ or pick up
We have daily story time, make lots of crafts and paint!
Lots of outdoor play time when weather permits (basically except when it’s raining out)
We are semi- structured but we have lots of fun! I believe in a healthy balance of learning through play.

CPR/ First Aid for Childcare certified, criminal record check and references available.
I am a former dance instructor (ages 2-18) and have previously owned a dance school in Northern Alberta for 3 years so I like to incorporate some dance into my daily program- kids LOVE to dance!! I also have my own amazing little 4 year old son at home as well.
