Hi my name is Amanda and I run A Place Like Home Child Care. I am a mother of 3 and I enjoy children very much. I am registered with the Mission Resource and Referral Program and offer a safe, educational and fun experience for all children in my care. I have a 5yr. old and 1yr. old twins.
I run a preschool-like program including monthly themes, freeplay, art, baking, music, reading and outdoor play. There is a playground and a variety of toys both inside and out. I am caring, flexible, reliable, responsible and open-minded. My home is a comfortable and fun place for children to learn and grow. I believe children learn best through play and strive to let them explore through play at all times.
I'm located just off Cedar and Egglestone. My fee includes your childs am/pm snack and the caring, comfortable feeling of "home" with a preschool twist.
