Our home daycare has now been up and running since June and we are LOVING IT! We have availability for 2 more children aged 1 1/2 to 6 yrs old. If your child is in school Tues, Thurs and every other friday this would fit our availability perfectly!
We are very excited to open our home to new friends and share our passion for physical activity, creativity and adventure! I'm a dental hygienist by trade and have CPR training. I have a four year old daughter and a 20 mo old son and they can't wait to share their scads of toys, games and puzzles with new faces. We have dedicated our very large walkout basement to daycare space. It is bright and colorful with room to roam! We back onto to greenspace with the Blueberry Trails right at our back door for lots of nature walks and scavenger hunts. Swings/slide, sandbox, ride-on toys in the yard plus a BEAUTIFUL new playground right in the neigbourhood. Plenty of fun water features also for the warmer weather. Everyone that has come through to see the daycare setup loves what we have done to make the area bright and fun!
What I enjoy most is craft time! We will be doing lots and lots of crafts! The more the better. We have an area just for crafts and boy is it fun! We also have a reading/puzzle area, a music corner, and a funky makeshift stage area for any little divas, rockers or drama kings and queens or simple puppeteers! We will have circle time with simple daily lessons (ie. letters/numbers /words of the day) and singing, show and tell, story time, various forms of exercise, lots of fresh air and healthy snacks and lunches. Flexibility is built in so any specific requests are strongly considered and welcome. We look forward to visiting with you and your little one(s) to see if we are the perfect fit.
