If you’re looking for a fun, safe, christian environment for your children, then Little Bear's Christian Daycare is the place for you and your children. My philosophy here is that all things can be replaced except the gift of a child. My daycare offers everything I would want for my own child. Lots of love, patience and fun things to do. Some of the benefits to my daycare are:
Nutritious meals and snacks provided at no extra cost
We currently have openings for all shifts.
We are a daycare that stays put. We may go to the park occasionally or for a walks, we do not do day trips. You would know where your child is at all times.
No late fees, flexible schedule, drop off and pick up’s are when you need, open door policy. Great rates
We are a non-denominational Christian Home daycare – stories, grace at meals, values and respect for others, sharing, ect…
All health and safety standards have been met and exceeded
Naptime mats, playpens, sheets and blankets are provided
Medication will be administered safely and on time (First Aid & CPR Levels A &C)
Outdoor and indoor play areas have been constructed with the children’s safety and fun in mind
There is a developmental curriculum plan in place and children learn as they are having fun – weekly themes, numbers, letters, shapes, , crafts, games, music, very limited TV time ect… Our school readiness program starts at around age 3. I find younger children learn better threw play and fun activities.
We try to go out side daily; this all depends on the weather. We have a great set-up in our fenced in yard with swings, slide, roller coaster, houses, sand and water table, ect…
This is what our day consists of:
Each day we offer the children fun and learning activities, story time, and daily outdoor time (weather permitting). We may go for a walk or out to the play ground; but mostly we play in our own park like back yard.
We start our morning program with the today’s weather, calendar, and songs/finger rhymes.
Next we do circle time. The children join together to talk and play games or some other activity. We also read our story and sing songs.
Each morning we do a craft activity associated with that mornings lesson. We have a weekly curriculum where the children learn their shapes, numbers, alphabet, and so much more. (age appropriate curriculum)
We offer the children lots of art activities through out the day. Such as play dough, painting, coloring, water play, messy table, puzzles, games, etc.
All children have an afternoon break. The younger children lie down and take naps the older children get to watch PBS/movies on TV or look at books during nap time
If you feel that this may be the place for your and your child please call to come by for a meeting.
We hope to hear from you soon to discuss the benefits I can offer my parents also.
Thank You. Wendy
