I have 2 beautiful daughters who will be almost 2 and 3 in September. I am due to go back to work then (I took an extra year leave from work) but not only do I want to stay home with my children I can not find a centre that will take my younger daughter as most places only take children 30 months and up. I have also had problems finding one that would take both children and where I felt comfortable with the centre/home.
I will be available to take care of 2 children in my home which is in Pitt Meadows (Wildwood area off Bonson) starting in September. I would treat your children just like I do my own but also realize that every child is different and learns and grows in different ways. In my home there is a balance between structure and learning and just plain old letting the kids have fun and being themselves.
I have my first aid, criminal record check and have lots of experience helping out my sister who runs a large daycare.
My rate will be $50 per day as this is what I need to make to be able to afford to stay home and provide the children with healthy snacks/meals and fun crafts and learning activities. After doing some research I found that this was a common rate especially for children under 30 months. I will only have my 2 children and 2 others so I will be able to have lots of one and one time and be able to spend time enjoying what each child likes to do.
