Hello Parents,
My name is Terry. I opened my home daycare business in September of 1990, when my first child was 10 months old. I have 3 children, who are all adults now. I have 27 years experience, caring for 50+ children. I am First Aid & CPR certified (2016), and both my husband & I have a Police Records Check. Over the years, I've worked through both Global Childcare & Wee Watch, and I am a member of the Childcare Providers Resource Network.
In my Daycare, your child will enjoy a more relaxed "home" environment because I will have a smaller group of only 2 or 3 children.
Your child will have an opportunity to learn and grow through experiencing Monthly Themes for learning.
We do a variety of fun activities such as:
Visits to local parks, walks by our neighbourhood pond, picnics, blowing bubbles, sidewalk chalk, as well as, crafts such as colouring, painting, playdough, stickers etc.
I really enjoy working with babies & young children. Their joy & enthusiasm for life is a delight to me. In my Daycare, I make a point of fostering a spirit of patience and cooperation between the children. In fact, one of the things I enjoy most is helping them learn to express themselves using their ever expanding verbal skills.
The best reward of all is being able to see them grow into confident little people who feel secure in knowing that they are respected and valued.
My goal is to provide a loving, safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for my Daycare children. As well as, to help working parents feel at ease and secure with the choice they have made.

We have a small female dog named Riley (9 yrs. old). She is a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix and weighs less than 10 lbs. She is not allowed in my Daycare area... I keep her gated out. But the children will see her (and hear her, whenever someone rings the doorbell). |
